Designer terms

Joining is free. The 5th Brand checks every designer profile before it goes live and may pause or remove a profile that breaks these terms.

Talk to customers and take payment only on this website. Phone numbers, emails, social media names, links and bank details are hidden in chats. Moving a customer off the website to avoid the marketplace ends your account.

Customers pay The 5th Brand. You receive 3% of the job price after VAT (7.5%) is taken out, less 6% withholding tax paid to the tax office for you. The 5th Brand keeps the rest and pays the payment fees.

You are paid after the customer approves the work, or 2 days after you deliver if the customer does not answer. The money goes to the bank account on your designer page.

Deliver on time, in the formats you agreed, with the rounds of changes you offered. If something goes wrong, either side can report a problem and The 5th Brand decides: finish the job, send it back for changes, or refund the customer. A refunded job is not paid.

Only send work you made yourself, using fonts and pictures you have the right to use. When the customer has paid and approved, the final design is theirs. You may show it in your portfolio unless the customer asks you not to.

You are responsible for your own income tax on what you earn.
